The great network of Inca roads called QAPAC ÑAN, was the only means of communication that existed since very remote times, currently for the Cusqueños it is a pride to have sectors, whether they are short of these royal roads of our ancestors; our Cusco has 2 important rivers the VILCANOTA, APURIMAC and small tributaries to these; which also had to be connected and for this there were HANGING BRIDGES made of vegetable fibers. QESWACHAKA is one of these bridges that has been handed down from generation to generation and its renovation is done once a year.

We will leave the city of Cusco after the respective pick up from the hotel at approximately 4:30 in the morning, we will take the route to the south of the city having our first stop in the CUSIPATA district where a buffet breakfast awaits us in a local family home Continuing our tour we will make a small stop at the viewpoint of the COMBAPATA district, we will be able to appreciate the union of two rivers (the SALCCA river that joins the great APURIMAC river) we continue for about 30 minutes by bus and we will arrive at the YANAOCA district and 30 more minutes to arrive at the QEWE district where the famous QESWACHACA BRIDGE is located. built with vegetable fiber especially the ICHU or ANDEAN STRAW, having a length of almost 30 meters.

The bridge renovation work is carried out once a year in June, it is a custom made by residents of the surrounding local communities; We will have enough time to explore the place, take pictures, receive the information from the Tourist Guide, on the return we will make stops at the lagoons of PAMPAMARCA, ASNAQCOCHA, ACOPIA and POMACANCHI; After enjoying these unforgettable moments in our four lagoons we will continue our adventure to CUSIPATA, place of our buffet lunch to finally return to the city of Cusco having an arrival at 18:00 hrs. to hotel.
