CHOQUEQUIRAO (3033 m.a.s.l.) is the second best-known archaeological site just as impressive as Machupicchu, this archaeological site is known as the younger sister of Machupicchu in South America, the name has a meaning that is "golden cradle". According to history, it was an Inca urban center that had similar functions to other Inca sites in the Cusco region, especially like Machupicchu. The pick up from the hotel will be very early at 4:30 am, we will take a private tourist transport that will take us to the town of CACHORA (2900 masl) here there will be a small stop for optional breakfast, we will continue the route until we reach the place called CAPULLIYOC start of our walk, where we will also meet the rest of the team of our trip (muleteer, cook, assistant and horses) that will accompany us during the adventure, this team is led by the cook or chef who will take care of all the organization regarding the group's food and camping. Starting our walk we will be able to see the majestic valley of Apurimac accompanied by one of the highest Apus or protectors in the area "El Nevado called PADREYOC"; Along the way we will learn more about the area, its climate, native fruits, abundant vegetation and a variety of fauna until we reach the banks of the Apurímac river (God who speaks), with crystal clear waters where rafting is practiced, after using the bridge to cross the river we will ascend to our first camp called SANTA ROSA (1800 MSNM).
