Inca Jungle 4 days tour

Overview:

The INKA JUNGLE is a good alternative to get to Machupicchu, it lasts 4 days and 3 nights, it is a mixture of adventure sports, with culture and history, one of the best routes where abundant flora and fauna of the Ceja de jungle. Itinerary:

DAY 01:

It begins with the pick up from the hotel at 6:00 am to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a private tourist bus, arriving at Ollantaytambo town we will have optional breakfast, and then continue for about 1 hour until ABRA MALAGA (4350m.snm) starting point of our adventure on two wheels “bicycle”. After a reasonable time to organize the group with the respective bicycles, instructions from the guide and the use of protective implements, we begin the descent for approximately 3 hours to the small town of HUAMANMARCA, during the tour we will have some stops for the Photographs of beautiful landscapes such as NEVADO DE LA VERONICA (5700m.snm) and the change of vegetation from the Andean part towards the tropical forest, arriving at the town of SANTA MARIA (1250m.snm) between 12:00 to 13:00 hours, where we will taste a delicious lunch at the lodge that will be our overnight place. After lunch we will continue with adventure sports this time in the Vilcanota River doing the optional RAFTING, with category III rapids, for this activity we have all the safety measures such as helmet, life jackets, windbreaker and an expert guide in safety kayak. Then we will return to our lodge for dinner.

DAY 02:

After tasting a consistent breakfast we will start our fresh walk at 6:00 am, during the first hours we will walk inside the fruit plantations such as banana trees, orange groves and be able to recognize the Coca plantations, then we will ascend to the place called COLA DE MONO , private property of a local family that will teach us their customs and traditions of daily life, the guide will explain the products that the families in the area produce, such as the production of coffee, corn, cocoa, yucca and others. ; We can also taste traditional drinks. We continue our ascent until we connect with the recently restored original Inca trail, this road connected the city of Machupicchu with the last Inca refuge called VILCABAMBA, along the Inca trail we will have a view of the majestic HUANCARCCASA CANYON AND THE SALKANTAY NEVADO, then we will descend towards the town of QUELLOMAYO, where we will enjoy lunch and a well-deserved rest and then continue for approximately 2 hours until we reach the famous hot springs of COCALMAYO, after a relaxed time in the hot springs we will take our private transportation to the town of SANTA TERESA, place of dinner and overnight in a hostel.

DAY 03:

This day we will be approaching our objective MACHUPICCHU, starting our activity immediately after breakfast, doing another optional activity that is the zip line or zip line, after this adventure we will take a transport to the town of HIDROELECTRICA where we will have lunch and then continue with a 3-hour walk to the town of Aguas Calientes, here we will have dinner in a restaurant and spend the night in a comfortable hostel.

DAY 04:

This day will be a challenge for us to try to be one of the first groups to visit the citadel of Machupicchu, therefore the awakening will be very early at 4:00 am to be able to be on time at the bus station because there will also be Many people having the same objective, the first bus will leave at 5:30 a.m. with a 30-minute tour we will be making our entrance to the citadel at 6:00 a.m., the guided tour lasts approximately 3 hours knowing the most important places and Highlights of Machupicchu after that they will have a rational free time to take pictures and fill themselves with energy that only this wonderful place can offer, they will also have the option of being able to take a short walk to the INTI PUNKU or Puerta del Sol from where they can take panoramic photographs from Machupicchu, it is recommended to go down to hot waters for lunch since there are more options, the return train to Cusco will depart at 4:20 pm arriving at the city. from Cusco at 8:30 pm to the hotel.
